Terms & Conditions of Service

 

1. Fees

Lessons are invoiced for a full school term including non-religious public holidays unless otherwise agreed upon. Invoices are to be paid within 14 days of being issued. Please refer to the pricing page for each schools price.

2. Missed Lessons

Any lesson missed by the Student shall be paid for unless 6 hours notice is given during working hours (8am-5pm). If sufficient notice is given, a catch up lesson will be arranged during the term, or in that terms school holidays. If the catch up lesson is not arranged within that time, it is forfeit.
 

If the Teacher is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson, the lesson will be carried forward to another date. If this is not possible, any fees already paid will be refunded, or used to pay for a future lesson.
 

In the event of planned absentees (such as holidays or school camps) the lessons will be taken off the terms invoice if one week’s notice is given before the terms starts. If sufficient notice isn’t given, the lesson reverts to a normal missed lesson.
 

There is a 1 catch up lesson per term policy. It is at the teachers discretion to catch up any extra lessons after the initial missed lesson.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you choose to discontinue lessons between terms you must give one weeks notice. If you choose to discontinue lessons during the term, any lessons not taken will not be reimbursed.

4. General

In the interests of the Student’s well-being while in the Teacher’s care, the Teacher must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the Student.

It is important to note that while the Teacher will use their best efforts to ensure the Student makes satisfactory progress, this cannot be guaranteed. In particular, careful regular practice as advised by the Teacher is needed to succeed on any musical instrument.
